About Resa

Beginner to Advanced Violin
Rothesay

Resa Fiorante is a violinist living in Saint John. She is originally from Regina Saskatchewan. Where she began her journey to helping children build confidence in themselves and feeling a sense of accomplishment.

She was immersed in music as a child starting with Kinder music until she  started violin at the age of 4 years old learning the Suzuki method. She completed RCM exams.  As she grew she was part of the South Saskatchewan Youth orchestra for many seasons until she graduated high school. Later in 2019 she won a position in the Regina Symphony Orchestra. Enjoying the sense of community and the opportunity to perform a variety of genres. During that time she studied in Missoula Montana to learn the Suzuki method and to be able to teach it effectively for book 1. She also secured a level one Carl Orff certificate. She taught at the conservatory of performing arts for group classes ages 4-6. She has a passion for teaching technique so that beginners will be set up with the best chances of success and to be able to really enjoy their instrument.  She looks forward to working with many different learners, and being able to find a way to match your learning style.

When she isn't busy with music she enjoys being outdoors, hiking, cooking, singing in the car and having a few laughs with her friends.
